Excellent and much loved Series 1 4.2 Roadster from long term 18 year enthusiast ownership. Subject to a full nut and bolt restoration and conversion to RHD in the 1990's and more recently to a full engine rebuild and top quality respray in Carmen Red. Comes with Black Hard Top in excellent condition.
It has been meticulously maintained and has a number of desirable upgrades including Coopercraft front brake callipers with steel braided hoses and Harvey Bailey anti roll bars, 2 inch stainless steel exhaust manifolds and stainless steel exhaust system, 6 inch competition chrome wire wheels with hardly used Blockley tyres, Fosseway performance hi flow radiator with electric fan, 123 electronic ignition, hi torque starter motor, spin on oil filter, diff rebuild to 3.07 ratio replacing the American spec 3.54, LED lights and inertia reel seat belts.
Full engine rebuild 12,000 miles ago, balanced and including short skirt pistons and uprated fuel pump. Cylinder head refurbished with gas flowed ports and heavy duty springs. Full repaint in 2014 including new bonnet. Black mohair hood in good condition with clear rear screen. The car drives exceptionally well and pulls strongly due to improved breathing. Paintwork and panel gaps are excellent, the engine bay is clean and smart and the interior quite acceptable.
