Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar E Type Roadster OTS Race Track Prepped
Exhibiting an abundance of strength and beauty, this car is race prepped, and ready to go.
Historically the car began its racing life in the early seventies, prepared by Al Garz of Speedway Motors.
Carrying the number 15, as it still does, it was well respected in the seventies, winning an EMRA C Production title in 1975.
By 1999, the car was back in the hands of Garz, and it was extensively restored for new current owner.
He raced the car with SVRA, Log Book 3330, and the Jaguar Club Empire Division in 01 and 02.
This Jaguar has only been raced four times, the last one being at Lime Rock in the spring of 2004.
The engine has special cams and head, 11:1 compression, and was dyno tested at about 300 BHP.
There is a new fuel cell, the engine is fresh, and all aspects of the car are race ready, including the transmission, clutch and brake system. The nose of the car is made of high quality fiberglass, and the interior is strictly business.
The car sounds so good, we wanted to take it out for a few laps ourselves.
This racecar has been professionally prepared and cared for, and invites the next owner.
Vehicle Location: Rock Hall MD 21661
Estimate: $45,000 - $50,000
