It does not make sense to speak about the lookings of this Jaguar E-type although the car is in a extremely nice condition. The car is restored approximately 1 year ago and has not been used very often since it was finished.

The color combination of the Jaguar is extremely nice (Gunmetal Grey with Oxblood dark red leather)

The car is equipped with a 4.2 liter 6 cylinder engine which makes it one of the most wanted Jaguar E-types.

In short: this is an extremely nice example of a superb icon in one of the most wanted series from the E-type ever made.

Auction description:

Estimate:£70,000-£90,000
Chassis No. 1E 13100
AUCTION RESULTS: Lot was Sold at a price of £100,800
• Desirable Series I, matching-numbers OTS (Open Two-Seater)
• Fresh, ground-up, photo-documented restoration
• Gunmetal metallic with dark red leather, chrome wire wheels
This car is a ground-up, two-year, documented restoration of a matching-numbers car by a marque specialist in the Netherlands. The engine, transmission and drive train were rebuilt and the restoration photographed in detail. The car also has a Heritage Certificate from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust, confirming its matching-numbers status, and it is finished in a stunning combination of gunmetal grey metallic paint and an oxblood leather interior, surely one of the most attractive combinations. A highly desirable model and a pristine example, this E-Type is ideal for a discriminating Jaguar enthusiast's collection.

Addendum
As per the Heritage Certificate that accompanies this car, this is an original European-specification E-Type and was delivered new to Germany. Please note this vehicle is EU taxes paid and is offered on Bill of Sale only.
