Accompanied by the corresponding Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT) certificate listing original data, this fully matching numbers XKE is an original left-hand drive model manufactured on 26 April 1966, originally finished in Carmen Red over Black and shipped to Jaguar Cars, New York for eventual sale on 9 May 1966. Subsequent known history resumes in April 1996, when the car was owned by Jesse Floyd of Columbus, South Carolina, followed by Jerry Bensinger of Hubbard, Ohio from whom the car was purchased by Chuck Webster of Manitowoc, Wisconsin in July 2006 as 66,000 indicated miles with full matching numbers components. As now offered, this outstanding 1966 Jaguar XKE Series I 4.2-Litre Roadster features an upgraded Kenwood AM/FM CD stereo head unit with twin speakers for additional enjoyment. A Black convertible top and matching boot cover, knock-off wheel hammer and roadside jack are included, plus restoration receipts and the aforementioned JDHT certificate are included.
