This is an all original, #'s matching 1966 Jaguar XKE roadster with 37,522 original miles that will be sold with NO RESERVE! Chassis # 1E12952. Engine # 7E8874-9 Basically this car is your PERFECT Series 1 roadster to restore. It is all original with original maroon paint. All the details such as the components and parts have been untouched, just like it came out of the factory, leaving no question marks when restoring the original components back such as the original zip ties that hold engine bay wiring to the chassis tube, the original clamps, the original SU green tin tags on each carb, etc... All these little detials are often missing /overseen in a proper restoration. All original Triplex glass in nice condition. Body is exceptionally straight, all gapping is very good. All panels fit nicely. Doors close perfectly. The only rust the car has is in both sills, floors and trunk. Most chrome needs to be redone but without dents. All numbers match on this car. Matching body tag on the back is still on the car. Last registered in 1974. I put fresh gas and a new battery and it runs beautifully. The engine does not blow any smoke either! Original Blaupunkt push button radio with the original antenna. Still has the original Dunlop Roadspeed tires. The original keys fit ignition, both doors, and trunk. This XKE roadster is the perfect one to restore simply due to its ultra original state the car is in, the fact that the motor is good, the beautiful color, and the low mileage.
