Bought from B. Gateau-Cumin October 2016. Car was in deteriorated state from Gateau-Cumin's 8 year ownership: badly scratched paint, buckled floorboards, leaking transmission, patinated brightwork, leaking LR brake caliper, among other items. Car is now being campaigned in JCNA Championship concours competition. Car undergoing constant improvements.

Car was rotisserie-restored by Illinois owner 1989-2006. California owner owned the car 2008-2016. I bought it in #3 condition October 2016. Since then, numerous condition issues have been addressed. Car is in #2+ condition as of December 2018.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
