Current bid $1,050, no reserve, 2 bids 9 days left in auction. 60k miles.

    Sellers description:
JAGUAR XKE CONVERTIBLE ROADSTER. THIS IS MOST UNUSUAL BECAUSE IT IS COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED.... AND I MEAN COMPLETELY. I GO INTO GREAT DETAIL AS I'M GOING THROUGH THE 100'S OF PARTS FOR THIS MAGNIFICENT CAR. FIRST LET ME SAY THE BODY FOR AGE IS VIRTUALLY RUST FREE. FRONT FENDERS HAVE SLIGHT RUST WHICH IS SHOWN IN PICTURES. REAR PAN SHOWS MINOR RUST. HOOD, DOORS, TRUNK LID ARE VIRTUALLY RUST FREE. IN THE BOXES THAT ARE PICTURED ARE MANY BRAND NEW PARTS WRAPPED IN FACTORY PLASTIC OR BOXES. THERE ARE AT LEAST ONE OF EVERYTHING, AND IN MOST CASES....MULTIPLES. I COULD PROBABLY TALK FOR HOURS ON THE MANY PARTS THAT ARE SHOWN, INCLUDING NEW WIRING HARNESS IN THE PACKAGE, NEW TIMING CHAINS, CYLINDER HEAD AND BLOCK APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN NEWLY MACHINED....AND THE LIST GOES ON. THE GENTLEMAN JUST RAN OUT OF TIME, BUT HAD EVERYTHING GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WITH WHATS SHOWN IN PHOTOS AND VIDEOS. IN MY OPINION, THIS IS A VERY RARE CAR. SELLING WITH NO RESERVE.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
