A small record of this car was documented by the owner in the June '82 edition Ejag magazine. Below is part of the owners notes:

The car I own 1E11910 was shipped back to England in '68 for modifications by the noted sports racer, Warren Pierce. Pierce recommended a set of J. A. Pierce "Magna" alloy wheels, 15x15.5" and Pirelli CN72 (HS) 205x15 high speed tires. I assume these were state of the art for 1969; in fact when I bought the car in 1977, the wheels and tires were rock steady at 120+ mph but the fronts scrubbed the wheel wells when parking.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
