Car offered at:
www.thebaycitymotorcompany.com/Inventory/P0000003/default.html
Sellers description:
Details matter: JCNA Trust certified and restored to current concour standards, over $100K in receipts and work records track every nut and bolt, and every step, as Jaguar of Denver masterfully restored this Series I to its original, authentic glory.
Work on this OTS was completed in 2007 and was commissioned by its original owner. This classic is now available for the most discerning collector. Study the provided Condition Report. Note the Euro-spec triple SU H8 carbs instead of the standard US spec dual Solex units feed this roadster's warranty-replaced 4.2 litre /265 Horse power I-6. Turn the key, listen as this engine eagerly comes to life and fills the dual exhaust with the deep throaty notes only a Series I Jaguar can make - this is the stuff legends are made of! Shift into 1st, let out the clutch and try not to smile from ear to ear.
This Jag is over the top, literally! Top down, soft top up or capped with a rare hard top, this car is stunning; running better than new and standing tall against all the competition.
1124 N Water St. Bay City MI 48708.

Amelia Island 4 March 2023
Accompanied by a copy of its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust history certificate and an ultra-desirable factory E-Type hardtop finished in black
The E-Type presented here is among the most desirable examples of the vaunted big cat. A 1966 Series I example, it benefits from the enlarged 4.2-liter, triple SU-carbureted engine and full synchromesh gearbox while retaining desirable, early E-Type styling elements of covered headlights, toggle switches, and over-the-bumper taillights.
Completed 25 October 1965, the open two-seater presented here was uniquely trimmed at the factory in Opalescent Maroon over Maroon leather upholstery. A left-hand drive example, the car was dispatched on 16 November 1965 for sale through Jaguar Cars of New York.
Today, the car has been restored in striking red over black leather with a black fabric top. Notably, it is also accompanied by a factory E-Type hardtop, refinished in black, a copy of its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust history certificate, and a selection of past service records.
Desirably equipped, fully restored, and ready to show or drive, this Jaguar E-Type presents an excellent opportunity to own a highly coveted Series I model replete with the more powerful 4.2-liter engine and late-series upgrades for improved performance and drivability.
