Full Restoration Continues

OCTOBER 2015

Finally we have completed the interior trim of this wonderful E-Type restoration vehicle along with the folding roof. Please flick through our images to see the updated pictures.
JULY 2015

Today we have received the 5 speed gearbox for this 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 OTS.

The engine and gearbox will be in by the end of today and it will be time to carry out the first start after nearly two years with aid from the high torque starter and electronic ignition upgrade.
MARCH 2015

Today at E-Type UK we have fitted the fully re-built rear IRS on this Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 OTS.

Upgrades including grooved and cross drilled rear discs, billet aluminium rear calipers with green stuff pads, adjustable height and damper rear shocks, polyurethane radius arms and cage mounts.

All the ancillary build in the engine has now been completed awaiting the return of the fast road engine and 5 speed gearbox.
JULY 2014

Today we have received back for our bodyshop a one owner 1965 Series 1 4.2 OTS, finished in original opalescent silver grey.

This E-Type will receive a full restoration by E-Type UK and will feature many E-Type UK upgrades including; fast road torsion bars and front roll bar, 5 speed gearbox, aluminium radiator and header tank, adjustable shock absorbers all round and fast road engine.

All the preparation work has been completed to speed the build up, this includes all plating and relevant part painting.
