According to its accompanying Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, chassis 1E 1108 was despatched from Browns Lane on February 9th 1965 and supplied new via Henlys of London to a John Langham. A desirable original right hand drive Series 1 Roadster fitted with the preferred 4235cc straight-six DOHC engine and four-speed all-synchromesh gearbox, the car has been the subject of much restoration work including all new suspension, brightwork and interior, some of which was undertaken by Broomstick Cars of Leighton Buzzard (c.£13,000 spent) and Chiltern Jaguar who finished the work after acquiring the restored shell in 2010. Originally finished in Opalescent Silver Grey with red leather interior, the car is now painted in red with black leather and offered with Swansea V5 document, MoT to September 2014 and assorted invoices. Riding on chrome wire wheels, research suggests the engine number currently fitted (7E 54144-9) is a correct specification but later unit. The vendor further advises the engine shows "correct" oil pressure and "perfect" gear change.

Car listed as sold at:
www.duncanhamilton.com/cars-for-sale/1965-jaguar-e-type-series-1-4-2-roadster/
Sellers description:
Original Factory Right Hand Drive , one of only 1,182 RHD 4.2's ever made. It has undergone a complete strip and repaint in the last six months and is now finished to a very high standard. The car underwent a complete nut and bolt rebuild in the early 2000's and since then has had very little use. This lovely Jaguar E-Type is in fantastic condition and is great investment opportunity.
