Now converted to RHD. Ex USA seven years ago. Only the third owner. Has had extensive rust but about half way through eliminating it. Rolling restoration.

Offered for sale in New Zealand.
------------------------------------------------
Jaguar E Type Roadster, Series One, 1965, matching numbers, covered head lamps all syncro gearbox. Red leather interior. Very desirable car.
In my ownership for 14 years, in that time most mechanical components have been overhauled or replaced. Recent rebuild of IRS and new clutch.
Body has been extensively rebuilt on an on-gong basis, including inner and outer sills replaced, boot floor replaced and rust removed as required.
Sensible and reversible upgrades include Spax adjustable shocks, Wilwood 4 pot callipers, upgraded alternator and aluminium radiator (never overheats and always stops).
Car is very reliable and I have travelled extensively throughout NZ and always got home.
Engine has been reringed and components ballanced with nothing else required - still on original bore size.
You may have also seen her out on the race track at Hampton Downs or Pukekohe or the occasional Targa Bambina (car comes with a removable roll cage).
Areas needing further attention in the next few years include the bonnet, the interior and the left hand sill is showing signs of road rash.
Only three owners from new - the first two were in the US, has been converted to RHD in my ownership using all original RHD parts. Extensive history available for the period of my ownership with some history also available dating back to new (1966 sales docket, service book, manual).
This E isnt a trailer queen and has been used extensively - the emphasis has been on using her not letting her languish in a garage.
