The starting bid is set to $30,000.00 This may have something to do with the "NO bids" problem

More complete description:
Vehicle Description:
Series 1 4.2 Convertible in Carmine Red. This is the most desirable E-type convertible. Matching numbers.
This is not show/concours but an excellent driving car. If you decide to make it concours, you have a matching number car in the future. As you know show/concours are now $100K but you wouldn't want to drive it.
I purchased this car 10 years ago from collector who had it restored. Since then it have only been driven 2000 miles, and all service have been maintained by Jaguar specialist. I have priced this car at low starting price to make room for another car so my loss is your gain.
Vehicle Condition:
This is not show/concours but excellent++ condition. Drives very well.
Paint is very good gloss (carmine red) but have some scratches. Excellent chrome but some have oxidization/pitting.
Interior is black. Top is black cloth fabric. All in Good condition.
Engine is strong and full power. Brakes and transmission in excellent condition. All records available. Engine was rebuilt at the time of purchase 10 years ago, and have been serviced since that time.
New tires Pirelli 4000 205/70 with tubes inside. Original wire wheels but some rust/pitting on spokes.
I had the car recently inspected May 2003 by Jaguar specialist, and all came clean. All records since purchase is available.
The following items have been either replaced /repaired / rebuilt to this car since my purchase in 1990.
1. overflow tank.
2. steering wheel bushings.
3. radiator.
4. clutch slave cylinder.
5. front and rear brake calipers.
6. front and rear brake pads.
7. brake master cylinder.
8. front brake rotors.
9. new 4 x Pirellis P400 tires (about 200 miles so far).
10. overall check up and oil /brake/filter change on 5/16/2003
