Ebay item 1/16/13
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/S1-ROADSTER-4-2-L-CA-BLACK-PLATE-SOLID-FACTORY-FLRS-RARE ...
Current bid $40,100 reserve not met, 11 bids 9 days left in auction. Note, early 4.2L car, missing the VIN "1E" prefix. Also the car has the J65 prefix tag. If this is original to the car the complete VIN would have been preceded by J65 which was the custom during the era in California.
Sellers description:
1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 liter tri-carb Roadster with black California license plates, solid original floors, 104099 original miles. Rare and desirable Dark Green/Suede Green color combination, beautiful in and out. New Dark Green (non-metallic) base-clear paint with new Suede Green Connolly leather interior, new black top. Hard top in excellent condition also included. All new body rubbers and seals. New tires, new brakes, rebuilt engine, new clutch, stainless-steel exhaust, too many details to list. Looks stunning and runs and drives superb. No rust whatsoever, floors, rocker panels and trunk floor are factory-original metal. Please note that all factory spot-welds on the undercarriage are visible, proving the original quality of this rust-free car. Bonnet is straight and original.

One should have a close look to the car before purchase. The seller
had no problem with selling a rusted through E-Type FHC as a rustfree
survivor with "solid original floors" a few month ago, pictures from the
same location, but no close shots from the painting, only from a few steps away so you can't see the blemishes!
The name on the heritage certificate (on ebay) is the same...
