Current bid $1,990 reserve not met, 2 bids 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1965 XKE roadster. This is a very early 4.2 car. It is actually the 69th built. The car is about 96% complete. It is a restoration project. As you can see in the pictures the center console is missing. The door panels and door handles are missing and of course the jack and tools as well. The engine turns freely. The head was rebuilt and was installed on the block, but the car was never finished. It has brand new Martin Robey full floors on both sides. The car steers and rolls. It will need a new front belly pan on the bonnet. The head and block are matching and they appear to be matching for the chassis of the car. There is a big box of miscellaneous parts that goes with it as well. The pictures pretty much tells the story of the car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
