From 2014 to 2022, this E-Type was part of an important collection in Belgium, maintained by the owner's in-house team of mechanics.
Upon arrival, the car was closely inspected, and it was found the floors presented some rust on the foundations.
Therefore the owner decided to take the car apart, all floors were replaced with original parts, there was absolutely no use of filler.
The doors, wings and rest of body, were still in very good original condition.
The rest of the car of the was closely inspected and everything that need replacing was done according to original specifications.
The works done on the car include

- New repaint in original color
- New front windshield
- Interior of front headlights were repainted as original specifications in light grey (with a slight scale effect)
- Replacement of all rubber joints,…
- New brakes, hoses, discs,...
- New ignition
- Engine: valves/carburettors adjustments, tuned by local well-known specialist
- Rechroming of all chrome parts (copper layer followed by chrome) done by professional company Vleminckx, Belgium.
- New tyres slightly larger than original (220 instead of 215) for better road handling
- New geometry done

Car comes with a correct period hardtop.

And many more hours and attention to detail which we cannot list in full.
The car is a joy to drive, the engine revs delightfully and all gears work perfectly without any crackling.
Has always been kept in Carcoon airflow storage system since the owner bought it and he drove it about 200 KM every year since restoration.
Documents that accompany car

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
