A German delivery car in 1968, to Peter Lindner G.m.b.H & Co in Frankfurt. Purchased by Lt H Russell a RCAF officer, returned to Canada 2 years later, owned for a year by an individual in Winnipeg and purchased by it's current owner in 1972. The car has won many concours, rallies and autocross events over it's 50 year history. Holds and has held for 10 years the current record in the street modified class at JCNA slaloms. Engine is stroked to 4.7l, big valves, and XM2 cams. and generates 100hp over stock. Medatronics (Paul Cangialosi) 5 speed transmission (believed to be the last one made by Medatronics). Never restored, repainted in 2006, reupholstered, with new top in 2022. Participant in Oil Leak Tours in 2018 and 2019.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
