Ebay item 2/11/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-E-Type-/232236125436
Current bid US $34,300.00
Reserve not met 6 bids 6 days left in auction, seller pristineautosusa, 53k miles.

Sellers description:
We are pleased to offer this very clean and well maintained 1967 Jaguar E-Type convertible 4.2 Litre. This is a 3 owner Jaguar. This is also a correct matching numbers car verified by Jaguar heritage. The exterior is Red, the interior is two tone, tan and black making for a stunning combination. The original color was maroon.

The engine was rebuilt several years ago and has been driven very little since full rebuild. This Jaguar does everything right, like a well maintained car should. The drive is great, the engine is strong with good oil pressure, and normal operating temperature. The transmission shifts correctly and smoothly, the clutch is firm and smooth. The brakes work correctly with no binding or dragging. There have been some very nice upgrades to this Jaguar, both mechanical and visual. The electrics operate correctly. This Jaguar is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

The body is in excellent shape with No accidents or rust issues. The body is very straight. This is as solid an E-Type as you will find. The floors do have some jack damage on both sides. The paint is an older repaint that shows well and is presentable. the chrome is in very good condition thru out this Jaguar. The interior is in excellent condition, the carpets are like new, the dash top has been replaced, the seats are recovered in soft black leather. The soft top is in good condition with a clear rear window.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
