History of this Jaguar Type E 4.2L:
Sold new in California on February 28, 1966, it was imported to the Netherlands in 2006 and then in 2012 the last owner acquired it. Regularly maintained in our workshops since 2012, we have, among other things, redone the engine and the entire cooling circuit.

Bodywork:
Its painting has a slight patina with some effects of time. It has excellent bodywork, very sound with adjustments to the doors and bonnet and perfect boot.

Upholstery:
Its black leather upholstery is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina, the carpets are clean as well as the door panels, the whole thing was replaced in 2015. Its blue soft top is probably original and still in good condition.

Engine :
Very sound mechanics, completely restored in our workshops in 2016, then regularly maintained with excellent oil pressure. The radiator was replaced in 2017 and a fan added.

Gearbox :
Great advantage of the 4.2L, the Jaguar gearbox is all synchronized for ease of use, In good used condition, the gears shift well.

Undercarriages:
The rear axle is stable, very good handling. The behavior of the chassis is perfect. No play or noise is noted. The suspension is excellent.

Braking behavior:
Braking is perfect and in a straight line, it is equipped with Coopercraft 4-piston brakes at the front and 3 pistons at the rear for optimal braking.

Options:
It also has a hard-top matching the car.
