2012 Calendars available Dec 11!

If you got here via Coventry Racers, XK Data, Saloon Data, XJS Data, XJ6 Data, XJ220 Data or Healey Data, this blog can't "live" on multiple domains as the blogging software doesn't support it. The items discussed below apply to all domains, and I'll endeavor to highlight items from all sites.

Twitter Feed

See user carcrux on Twitter. Does this seem useful to anyone? It posts a “tweet” when a new car is approved, or any car gets new photos posted. I imagine there would be about 10 – 30 tweets a day.

Not sure if this is useful, please let me know. If not, it was an interesting exercise…

UPDATE: I disabled this, as the number of tweets was insane. I’ll reconsider, maybe just adding RSS to the “latest” page would be a better solution.

  1. Hi Roger,

basically yes, but it is a little bit too many tweets for my taste. Any chance of having it per site? (only Saloons, or XKE, or XK etc?) Or would that be too complicated for you to do? Cheers! Pekka T.

  2. (Hm, I see the footer is not playing nice here in the blog. Oh, well.)

I agree, it seems a bit over-the-top. I wonder whether a by-site RSS feed would just be a better way to do this, if we do it at all.
