Calendar sample
Because I was on such a tight time schedule after the Ford debacle, I hadn’t got a chance to see the calendars until the samples arrived today. They’re not bad, not quite up to the quality of last year’s (I suspect calendars aren’t the first order of business at Lulu), but still pretty good.
One thing is bad, though, and that’s the holidays on the calendars themselves. They give you the options to have many different nation’s holidays on the calendar, and I opted for several different ones. I’m staring at a calendar right now that does the same…unfortunately, Lulu’s output mechanism isn’t too bright, and holidays that are shared among all of the nations overflow the date box for that day. Bah. The preview showed only the US holidays anyway, so it wasn’t too clear.
I’m resetting them to only show “US” events as that will at least not overflow the date boxes. My apologies for this snafu. It wouldn’t be the data sites calendar without one major cock-up. I revised the calendars online to correct this from this point forward.

Hello Roger,
I received mine end of the week (less than 2 weeks after ordering on line).
It looks great, good paper quality, very nice pictures and the events thing is not
a trouble.
best regards
Philippe

I just received mine, and the Todd Thomas attribute (which you said was fixed) is there… maybe mine were from before? Who knows.

Chuck, I think the first five or so calendars shipped might have had that image. I’ll triple check the PDF file it generates. Sorry about that.

Chuck, I just checked, and Garth is definitely in the current calendar. I caught that pretty early, so once again you’re paying the penalty for being an early adopter. If you need a replacement or two, I have yet to order my xmas calendars and the recipients thereof aren’t going to mind, so I’d be happy to swap with you.

Received my 4 calendars here in New Zealand 2 weeks after I ordered them. They are obvioulsy not printed on as heavy paper stock as last years but they are still well worth the money. Cheers John.

wouldn’t worry about the holiday thing…let’s face it, we all know when Christmas is, and benedict arnold’s birthday was, oh, and when we beat the yanks in PA….
