2009 Calendars Order Now!

If you got here via the XK Data, Saloon Data, XJS Data, XJ6 Data or the Healey Data nav bar, this blog can't "live" on multiple domains as the blogging software doesn't support it. The items discussed below apply to all domains, and I'll endeavor to highlight items from all sites.

Site Performance

I’ve been doing some minor tweaking of the site to improve responsiveness, but I’ve noted some general sluggishness on all of the sites I have hosted on pair.com. I’m not sure what’s going on there, but hopefully it will fix itself over time.

  1. Call them and annoy the tech support people with vague complaints about performance without any quantitative data. Those of us in the industry REALLY love that. ;)

  2. Roger,

I have noticed real improvement in the photo gallery upload capacity. I think I am pretty well up to date on 1E12025. Now I need to get some nice exterior shots out in the real world-DRIVING. When I get around to it I will scan some of the hotos of 881886 restoration and add them to that history.

I just tonight noticed the blog and saw your “Feature” on my car. Very cool!! Thanks to you and also Chuck Goolsbee for the compliment on the photo, that really means something coming from him.

VERY INTERESTING website!! Lots of work too I’ll bet. Now I know why you have not finished your OTS.

    Compliments,
    John Delay
